ABSTRACT -
This project began with a simple idea:
To explore the potential for developing a new self-built architecture based on material skills which are local to the east London borough of tower Hamlets… with the aim being to create a much more locally specific, materially and culturally rich, crafted form of architecture than those typically found in other self-build projects.
